PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT LAWYER (PSL) FACULTY
The Matheson PSL Faculty brings together our Professional Support Lawyers (PSLs) from practice areas across the firm to enhance knowledge sharing, collaboration and innovation for Matheson and our clients. Our PSL Faculty, led by Nicola White, Director of Learning and Development, is comprised of qualified and highly experienced solicitors and barristers who have first-hand experience managing transactions and clients relationships, as well as in-house experience working with global organisations.
At Matheson, we are committed to helping our clients stay ahead of legal and market trends and our PSL Faculty enables us to draw on the collective experience and knowledge of all our PSLs to deliver services to support the firm and our clients in the areas of knowledge, innovation, training and efficiencies.
Knowledge Insights
Our client education programme, Matheson Knowledge Insights, is a series of education and training events designed to keep our clients updated on the latest and emerging legal, regulatory and business developments. Each event provides direct access to the knowledge and legal expertise of Matheson partners and the members of our PSL Faculty, and the series also features business management and industry experts.
As part of Matheson’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions and leveraging technology, the Knowledge Insights series is delivered through a combination of in-person briefing sessions at our Dublin offices and online briefings via Matheson’s Client Learning Hub. To assist Irish registered in-house counsel fulfil their CPD requirements, each event qualifies for CPD under the Law Society of Ireland requirements, whether attended in person or viewed online. Horizon Updates
Keeping up to date with new and proposed legislation and regulation is an ongoing challenge for businesses. The Matheson PSL Faculty monitors and analyses proposed and upcoming Irish and EU legislative and regulatory developments, to determine the practical implications for our clients.
Our PSL Faculty delivers regular Horizon Updates on upcoming and proposed legislation on the horizon, as part of the Matheson Knowledge Insights series. Each update focuses on particular sectors or areas of law.
The PSL Faculty also publishes a Horizon Tracker, to complement our Horizon Updates. This report provides further information on a range of current, upcoming and proposed Irish and EU legislation and regulations in each of the areas of law discussed in our Horizon Updates.
